Larisa Iordache is again all around winner at Romanian nationals, with a total of 59.560. Unfortunately the gap between the leader and the rest of the competitors was sizeable, with Stefania Stanila finishing second (55.800) and Andreea Iridon finishing third (55.100).
The members of the National team (juniors and seniors) competed together, hence the presence of junior Iridon on the podium.
Larisa competed well on vault (DTY) and floor but had mistakes on bars and beam. Despite the less than perfect meet Iordache looks to be in great shape in the view of the upcoming international season. She has introduced new elements in her routines: on bars a pike Tkachev, on beam she presented a packed routine with full back tuck, layout full and layout to two feet. The floor routine was also upgraded, with Silivas, full in tuck, triple full, full in pike, quad turn and double Y turn.
