The bars final was a showdown between Europe’s top bars workers of the moment: Spiridonova vs. Downie. The Russian started out as favorite, and she managed to win the title with an almost impeccable routine, out of a 6.7 difficulty. Rebecca Downie also hit her routine (out of 6.7 as well) but simply did not see as confident in her execution as Daria.

Sanne Wevers was a surprise bronze medal winner, with a beautiful but far less difficult routine.
