The final of the DTB Pokal team challenge took place on Sunday, March 20th, in Stuttgart. Here are the final ranks:

Russia started the competition on beam with the line-up Kapitanova, Shelgunova and Melnikova. The first two had good routines for 14.033 and 13.900 respectively, but Melnikova fell and only received a 12.866. Beam would remain their weakest event. On floor, Melnikova received a 14.433 for her routine, Kapitanova a 13.533 while Dimitrieva had a decent performance for 13.800. On vault, Melnikova threw a good double twisting Yurchenko – 14.733. Kapitanova received a 14.133 for her FTY, while Dimitrieva fell on her DTY attempt ( 13.533 respectively). Russia had an impressive bars rotation with 15+ scores across the board from Melnikova, Kapitanova and Spiridonova.
Germany was consistent but conservative on beam (Sarah Voss 13.800, Pauline Tratz – 13.500 and Leah Griesser – 13.700). Griesser received their highest score on floor (14.033), While Tratz was best on vault (14.233). Elisabeth Seitz competed on vault (FTY – 14.066) and on bars (15.366, the highest score of the competition).
For Switzerland the gymnasts competing were Giulia Steingruber, Ilaria Kaeslin, Caterina Barloggio, Thea Brigli. Giulia Steingruber had a very inconsistent competition, with falls on vault and bars but the best scores on the competition (in the mid to high 14s) for her beam and floor routines.
For Poland the gymnasts competing were Marta Pihan Kulesza, Katarzyna Jurkowska and Gabriela Janik. Their highlight routines were Jurkowska’s vault (for a 14.433) and Marta Pihan-Kulesza’s beam (13.900).
