Maisie Methuen has become the 2016 British junior all-around champion, a first in her career. She finished with a 54.600, with her highest score coming from vault (a 14.050). Her floor routine was another highlight of the competition, for which she received a 13.750.

Trailing behind her were Taeja James, who finished with a 53.850, and Ellesse Oates, who achieved a 52.850.

The results from this competition should give us a clear idea as to who will represent Great Britain at the 2016 Junior European championships.
Scottish gymnast Louise McColgan withdrew from the competition after spraining her ankle in podium training and for sure would have been near the top of the standings had she competed. The Couch Gymnast wishes her a speedy recovery.
