Competing in the last subdivision, Belgium and France both qualified with a full team to Rio Olympics after placing 3rd and 4th respectively.
Belgium started with 4 clean full twisting Yurchenko. Then moved on to bars where their best worker Rune Hermans felt the pressure but still scored a good 13.556. Senna Dericks and Laura Waem upped the team total on the event with scores over 14. They stayed on beam with correct routines and kept their cool on floor scoring consistently in the mid 13s on both events.
France gathered a total of 220.869 after a stellar bars rotation and a clean vault rotation. They were a bit more nervous on beam and floor too but it was more than enough to maintain themselves two points above Australia.
Team results: qualified team are Germany, Brazil, Belgium and France
Individual results: individual qualifiers are the first 30 all arounders that don’t have a country in the pre-Olympic tournament or already qualified to the Olympics
