Commonwealth Games:
In the team event, England won comfortably the gold medal ahead of Australia and Wales – our team final wrap-ups over two parts [Link] [Link]
The all around was again dominated by the English girl: Claudia Fragapane, Ruby Harrold and Hannah Whelan won gold, silver and bronze respectively. [Link]
While in the event finals Claudia Fragapane continued her Commonwealth domination- with gold on vault and floor. Ellie Black won gold for Canada on beam while Becky Downie confirmed her favorite-status in the bars final. Results: [Link] [Link]

Updates on Russia: “The women are at training camp at present, preparing for the upcoming, late August, Russia Cup. The outcome of this competition will determine who is selected for October’s World Championships. There will be six team members competing in qualifications (6-5-4 format) and the usual 6-3-3 in team finals.”: [Link]
